The Black Dahlia Murder have released the video for the track ‘Goat of Departure’ off their recent album Everblack. Of course, a goat does make an appearance in the video, in addition to the Statuatory Ape, “Slash” and what appears to be an approximation of Abe Lincoln, if Lincoln had ear gauges. The band keeps it classy by playing the song in tuxedos. Says frontman Trevor Strnard:
“It’s our pleasure to release our latest exercise in music video stupidity to you all at long last… We’d like to thank Guiness the Goat for penciling us in and all of the rabid TBDM fans for getting wild with us. Press the play button and embrace the glory of the goat!”
While Guiness the Goat looks a bit perplexed throughout the video, the fans seem to be having a good time, and the Statuatory Ape is definitely intent on causing a ruckus. Catch BDM during the remainder of this years edition of the Vans Warped Tour.
