Ashes of Ares, the heavy metal duo featuring ex-Iced Earth members Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales, have dropped a video for their latest single, “Keep on Walkin’.” The track is taken from their upcoming album New Messiahs, scheduled to arrive on July 18 in Europe and August 8 in North America via ROAR!
Barlow comments:
“‘Keep On Walkin” is a song I wrote about parenthood while considering my relationship with my sons. I was inspired after taking a walk one day and thinking of that walk as the measure of a lifespan. I wanted to start the narrative with my sons’ first steps and end after I have passed away and they continue on their own path.”
