Now that he’s (allegedly) sober and heading back out on the road with Ministry, frontman Al Jourgensen stopped by El Paso station KVIA. As a 10-year resident of the town, he decided to stop by and give an interview. It’s a little odd for the frontman of an industrial band to stop by a TV station to chat, especially since he’s not necessarily there to pitch anything. It’s also odd that he’s referred to as the singer of the “classic rock band” Ministry. We think they mean that Minstry is a classic band that’s also rock, and not a ‘classic rock’ band, but it’s still odd, considering they’re way more of an industrial band. The newscast then handed over the reigns to Al for the weather forecast. As a weatherman, Al is a pretty good singer.
