If you’re a fan of Winds of Plague, you may have heard about their return to action after almost a one-year hiatus, first by playing the benefit show with Suicide Silence in Santa Ana, CA and then officially announcing plans for 2016 via Facebook as you can read below:
“For those who haven’t heard, last night we announced that in 2016 Winds Of Plague will be back in action. Wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came together for such a great cause and made last night’s show incredible. It was great to be back on stage and feel the support and love radiating from the audience. Stay tuned for more detailed announcements and hope to see you all soon in a city near you! Much Love!”
The news didn’t stop there, because during that show, some noticed the return of their former drummer and current Prong drummer Art Cruz and that made many people wonder if that meant his permanent return, after the drummer left the band due to “creative differences,” and Cruz just cleared those doubts via Twitter:
Back w/ @windsofplague Here’s to a wild 2016. Continue to catch me w/ @prongmusic too! #DoubleDuty #GetInvolved pic.twitter.com/4Jgnn1jQ24
— Art Cruz (@theartcruz) December 8, 2015
Cruz also mentioned that he’ll still be part of Prong while on Winds of Plague taking double duty as a drummer. There are no details about Wind of Plague’s plan for 2016 but once they announce something, we’ll let you know. Meanwhile, take a look at the footage below with Cruz behind the kit a few days ago.
