Just last week, we were getting our hopes up believing the new Tool album will arrive sometime in April. At that time, a video leaked taken from a meet and greet at NAMM where drummer Danny Carey promised a fan that the upcoming record will hit shelves this spring. A day after we heard this news, the band shared a visual teaser on their website, which made us hope this April release was concrete. However, a fan reached out to Maynard James Keenan himself via Twitter asking if these rumors are true.  Keenan shot down all hearsay and expectations as the frontman responded with a simple, “no.”

Therefore, the saga of Tool updates continue but, as Maynard has previously addressed, the album will arrive (hopefully) at some point this year.
