Killswitch Engage, as we know, are releasing Incarnate, on March 11th. And while the metal blogosphere and KsE’s fans already are aware of that, in the week leading up to it’s release, they’re going to make sure that everyone in New York knows it too. From March 6th through 11th, the band will be playing an impressive five shows in Manhattan and Brooklyn, all at venues they’ve never played before. While the band have played the tiny Santos Party House as an underplay for the CBGB Festival a few years back, there are many smaller venues they haven’t played. Given that they could probably sell out the 1,000-capacity Irving Plaza easily, playing at a handful of venues half that size (at best) will be a treat for the band and their fans. Here’s where they”ll be:

3/06 NYC, NY @ The Gramercy Theatre
3/07 NYC, NY @ The Bowery Ballroom
3/09 Brooklyn, NY @ Saint Vitus Bar
3/10 NYC, NY @ The Marlin Room at Webster Hall
3/11 Brooklyn, NY @ Rough Trade

In addition, each night, they’ll be debuting a different song from the album, so if you’re a die-hard, you’ll get to hear half the album played live for the first time. It all culminates in a show at Rough Trade on the day of the album’s release, which makes sense, since you’ll be able to buy it there. Here’s some more info about their residency.
