As we have seen in the Billboard’s Boxscore reports over the past few months, Guns N’ Roses have been doing more than great during their “Not in This Lifetime” reunion tour. Almost every day they played during their North American run pulled more than  $3M in gross sales and that helped them reach the top of Pollstar’s top 20 global concert tour.

According to ObserverNewsOnline.com, GN’R head the top 20 global list with an average of $5,498,347 gross sales per show and an average ticket price of $117.34. Following the list, you will find Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band, Beyoncé and Adele. The only other familiar metal name in the list is Def Leppard in at the end of the list with an average of $617,185 per show and ticket price of $59.13.

The data used was gathered by average box office gross per city and includes the average ticket price for shows Worldwide. The list is based on data provided to the trade publication Pollstar by concert promoters and venue managers.

At least this would bring some light as of why this tour happened the way it did and took as long as it took. Of course, these numbers still need to be shaved down with management and production costs but you can still bet Axl and the gang took a big paycheck home. Especially Axl.
