Get your opera glasses out, because Italian orchestra-from-hell Fleshgod Apocalypse are bringing an actual soprano singer on the road with them when they go on tour with Wintersun, Arsis, and Starkill this fall, courtesy of MetalSucks. Fleshgod already keeps it classy by performing in tuxedos (and corpse paint, of course). The fact that they are bringing singer Veronica Bordacchini with them to avoid having to cut corners in their live performance just makes them all the more the respectable gentlemen. Bordacchini performed on their previous album Agony as well as their upcoming release Labyrinth, for which they have already debuted the track “Elegy“.
From the bands Facebook page:
“YES! IT’S GOING TO HAPPEN! We are really proud to announce that the soprano singer VERONICA BORDACCHINI will be on tour with us from now on, included the upcoming tour in NORTH AMERICA with Wintersun, Arsis and Starkill!!!
She did an outstanding job in the studio on “Agony” and “Labyrinth” and now it’s amazing to have such a talented singer on stage everynight!
Last but definitely not least we are going to play some new songs from our new album “Labyrinth” on the next tour so BE FUCKIN’ THERE!!! \m/”
While you are waiting for them to come to your city, hear them make Beethoven roll over in his grave (or headbang in his grave, more likely) with the lyric video for the track “Minotaur (Wrath of Poseidon)” from Labyrinth. It does not disappoint:
