Former Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Jason Hook has launched his new band, Flat Black. Signed with Fearless Records, their upcoming debut album was recorded at Hook’s home studio in Las Vegas and produced by Hook himself. While the LP announcement hasn’t been unveiled just yet, the new trio will support the record on their upcoming tour with Godsmack.
Hook comments on the new project:
“I feel like Flat Black is a secret I’ve been keeping for three years. It’s finally time to unleash this band on the world. I’m grateful to Sully from Godsmack for giving us the chance to get out on the road and play for such an amazing group of fans. As a musician, I crave freedom and I wasn’t ready to stop creating. Life is short. We all want to feel satisfied and happy with what we are trying to accomplish in life.”
Earlier this week, Godsmack announced a North American Tour with the new project.
