We fell in love with A Pale Horse Named Death’s debut album And Hell Will Follow Me back in 2011. So it didn’t take long for us to become head over heels for the group’s latest offering, Lay My Soul To Waste, available now via Steamhammer/SPV. The album continues to capture the heavy and dark moments of groups like Alice In Chains and Type O Negative (the later being pretty fitting since the group is fronted by ex-Type O Negative/Life Of Agony drummer Sal Abruscato, and also features his replacement in Type O, Johnny Kelly). So basically, it’s pretty bad-ass music to blast while you’re stuck inside on a stormy night. With that in mind, we thought we’d ask what five songs guitarist Matt Brown (also of Seventh Void) he’d suggest listening to on a stormy day. See which songs he’d pick, and give the song “In The Sleeping Death” (originally premiered by Bloody-Disgusting) below.
