According to Vanyaland, former Anal Cunt guitarist Josh Martin has passed away. Martin lost his balance and fell off an escalator last night (28th) at the Providence Place Mall in Providence, Rhode Island. WPRI reported the 45-year-old fell off from the upper level to the food court area at around 10:45 pm and later died at the Rhode Island Hospital after suffering from his injuries which included serious head trauma.
WPRI also mentioned a police report obtained by Eyewitness News revealed a witness saw Martin “clowning around and riding the rail of the escalator.” The witness also informed to officials that he reached the downward slope of the handrail and fell backwards off the rail and hit his head on a table in the food court below.
Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage of the incident however, they believe this was accidental.
