The name Final Drive might sound familiar to you. That’s because the St. Louis band already have four albums under their belt and have been touring relentlessly behind them. Their fifth one, Dig Deeper, will be out next Friday (2/3), and in advance of it, they’re currently on the road with Mobile Deathcamp on the cleverly-named “NAMM You All To Hell” tour (because you know, it went to NAMM and they’re heading back).
Today, we’re psyched to premiere the lyric video for “The Last Time,” the third track on their forthcoming album. Equally thrashy and melodic, it reminds us of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal just before metalcore got oversaturated. Heavy, but with a melodic chorus, it’s catchy enough to be stuck in your head before the song’s even finished.
Dig Deeper will be out on February 3rd and can be preordered via their website or Bandcamp page.
