Tool rumored to be remastering albums for vinyl release

It wasn’t too long ago that Maynard James Keenan explained why it’s taking 10,000 days for a new Tool and A Perfect Circle album. It has already been confirmed that we won’t expect to see anything new this year, however, we did notice an updated website. Despite bassist Justin Chancellor revealing they are 90% away from creating new material, and the recording is rumored to take place sometime this fall, we remain clueless on when this will happen.

The band was in talks to join streaming services earlier this year and now, it looks like they are on their way to remaster their entire catalog, but for physical purposes, not digital. Drummer Danny Carey responded to a fan, which is now posted on Reddit, they plan for a remaster vinyl release sometime, “in the near future.”
