This year’s Metal Alliance tour promises to “crush skulls”

This time last year, Dying Fetus headlined the Metal Alliance tour with the Acacia Strain, Jungle Rot, and Black Crown Initiate. During their run, a fan from Illinois, Nick, passed away and his dying wish was to have his ashes scattered onstage and the group honored it at one of the shows. While it’s safe to assume Dying Fetus will be part of this year’s Summer Slaughter tour, it seems the seventh annual Metal Alliance tour presented by Fear the Riff Expo are planning a huge return that will “Crush Skulls.”

Now, the closest hint to this would be Swedish death metallers Unleashed since they do have a  song entitled “Crush the Skull” from 1992’s Shadows in the Deep, and Looking at their schedule, it is a possibility. However, it could be a coincidence and only time will tell.
