PBB1_1_Bone_002_grandeWhile the brand “Ed Hardy” is synonymous with douche and Axe Body Spray these days, it actually takes its name from a Don Ed Hardy, a tattoo artist. Now there’s another world-renowned tattoo artist that’s branching out beyond the realm of body art and the occasional album cover: Paul Booth. The tattoo artist, whose work adorns members of Slayer, Pantera, Slipknot and Gregg Allman has launched Paul Booth Brand. The initial offering from the company is a limited edition wall sconce with a built in incense burner. The sconce, designed by Booth is a two-foot high, 7 pound design that looks gothic as fuck. It’s not cheap, with prices ranging from $170 to $210, but more affordable projects will be coming soon, including candleholders, light switch covers, cooking utensils, wallpaper, and framed art. Booth is defintely the most metal tattoo artist out there, so if any tattoo artist expanding outside the world of tattooing would have a chance to make it, it’s Paul.
