Clearing up any confusion, Sepultura have confirmed drummer Greyson Nekrutman will rejoin the band for the continuation of their farewell tour in 2026. The clarification comes after Nekrutman was recently announced as Trivium’s new drummer, stepping in for Alex Bent, who announced his departure on Friday (3rd) after nine years. In a now-expired Instagram Story posted on Sunday (5th), Sepultura cleared up any questions fans had on Greyson’s future with them:

“As many of you may already know, our drummer Greyson Nekrutman has temporarily joined our friends from Trivium as their drummer. In 2026, he’ll be back with Sepultura, resuming his place in the band as we continue our farewell tour. Stay tuned for new tour dates coming soon!”

Nekrutman, 23, made his live debut with Trivium at this year’s Aftershock Festival on Saturday (4th) and will continue with the group for their upcoming North American run. Speaking of, Sepultura just announced they will perform at the 2026 Greenfield Festival in Switzerland.
