Super7 will release a “ReAction” figure of the late Metallica bassist, Cliff Burton. The figure is set to be released on Thursday, February 10th. Burton played on Metallica’s first three studio albums, 1983’s Kill ‘Em All, 1984’s Ride The Lightning and the 1986 Master Of Puppets which contains Burton’s famous “Orion.” The late bassist is also credited with co-writing such Metallica staples as “Ride The Lightning,” “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” “Fade To Black,” “Creeping Death,” and “Master Of Puppets.”

Burton’s life was tragically cut short at the young age of 24 from a bus crash while the band was on tour in Sweden on September 27, 1986. February 10, 2018 was proclaimed “Cliff Burton Day” by Alameda County supervisors. Burton would have been 60 yrs old. Burton’s huge talent and achievements were chronicled in book form with the 2009 global publication of “To Live Is To Die: The Life And Death Of Metallica’s Cliff Burton”, written by U.K.-based author Joel McIver and published by Jawbone Press. The foreword was provided by Hammett.
