Police called to Marilyn Manson’s home for “welfare” check following abuse allegations

TMZ reports, several police officers went to Marilyn Manson’s home in Hollywood Hills, CA, last night (3rd) for a welfare check. A worried friend who could not reach the shock rocker for hours was concerned for Manson’s well-being. Law enforcement received a call from the concerned friend, wondering if something may have happened to him.

Several officers arrived at Manson’s home and made many attempts to hear from Manson to speak to them to no avail. An LAPD helicopter was also seen with a spotlight circling the singer’s property. Manson never responded to the police call, but later, cops connected with a rep for Manson, diffusing the concern by saying everything was fine. Manson simply didn’t want to come out. The cops left shortly after.

The welfare check happened just a few days after Evan Rachel Wood, and other women came forward with abuse allegations against the singer. Since then, Manson has been dropped by his label, Loma Vista Recordings, and his upcoming TV appearances have been cut.
