Machine Head kicked off their North American tour this past Thursday (25th) in support of their new album Catharsis, which is available now via Nuclear Blast. It’s no secret that the group have been receiving backlash for this release including Decibel Magazine’s shrug review and you can read our thoughts here, even if former bassist Adam Duce couldn’t be bothered to listen. With all of the present noise circling around this release, the band has encountered another scare.
While they have been on the road for less than a week, Machine Head got caught in a scary bus accident last night. All members are reported safe and they shared the below video of their tour bus smacking into a large semi truck.
SCARY BUS ACCIDENT
Everyone safe.
Narrowly missing a truck that had missed a turn off and was over-correcting into oncoming traffic.
Our bus/trailer skidded in, smashed our mirror off, shattered Byron’s window, and scared the hell out of everyone sleeping, but no one was hurt!! pic.twitter.com/DRaW9zxNV2— Machine Head (@MfnH) January 29, 2018
