While one of Rob Zombie’s best-known horror films is House of 1000 Corpses, the musician and director just sold his place for a lot more than $1,000. The Los Angeles Times reports that he just sold his Tudor house in the Hancock Park section of Los Angeles for $3.65 million. And while you’d expect the place to look like a horror and kitsch fan’s dream, save for the stuffed and mounted polar bear, it would be easy to suspect the six-bedroom , half acre house to belong to any other rich person in L.A. Also, Zombie made out on the sale of his house, which also includes a swimming pool, a pool house and a guesthouse. Public records show that when the house was last sold, in 1999, it sold for $1.799 million. The article says that Zombie owns a house in Westport, CT, which he can now nicely upgrade, apparently.
