According to Rolling Stone, on Monday (29th), the West Hollywood home of shock rock star, Marilyn Manson, was raided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Special Victims Unit investigators searched Manson’s home for belongings in connection to the sexual assault allegations against him.

An LA County Sheriff source was quoted as saying,

“What I can confirm is there was a search warrant that was served this morning. It’s confirmed it was [Manson’s] address, his location. It was a search warrant for his belongings.”

Reportedly seized were hard drives and other media storage units thought to contain evidence relevant to the case.

In February, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that it was “investigating allegation(s) of domestic violence involving Mr. Brian Warner, also known as ‘Marilyn Manson'” and would be looking into incidents that “occurred between 2009 and 2011 when Mr. Warner lived in the city of West Hollywood.”

The 52-year-old musician, whose real name is Brian Warner, released a statement denying the abuse allegations leveled against him, writing on Instagram:

“Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”

Manson’s attorney Howard King said in a statement:

“Mr. Warner vehemently denies any and all claims of sexual assault or abuse of anyone. These lurid claims against my client have three things in common — they are all false, alleged to have taken place more than a decade ago and part of a coordinated attack by former partners and associates of Mr. Warner who have weaponized the otherwise mundane details of his personal life and their consensual relationships into fabricated horror stories.”
