As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis sued by woman burned from bonfire incident

City News Service reports, As I Lay Dying’s Tim Lambesis has been sued by a woman, alleging she suffered second-degree burns when he sprayed a flammable liquid into a fire pit at his parents house on December 12, 2020. Vivienne Barcena claims she was standing near the fire pit when Lambesis “squirted an accelerant into it, causing flames to ‘explode out’ and up her arm, back and midsection.” Lambesis’ parents are also named as defendants in the lawsuit that was filed last week in a San Diego Superior Court.

Lambesis was in direct line of the incident, which resulted in 25% of his body burned after trying to ignite the bonfire. The singer recently shared his ICU experience along with revealing he lost a few pounds after contracting COVID-19 via Instagram, stating:

“I don’t think that’s true of all people, because there is an extremely small percentage of people who have the strength and wisdom to never fall in the first place. However, it is true of me. This year I’ve become the best version of myself so far because I’ve had to get back up from so much. Can this be the last big one this year though please? I had just gained back the 20 pounds of muscle I lost from being in the ICU and now I’ve lost another 5 from Covid. Still keeping my head up and keeping grateful though. The best is still ahead.”
