Aborted have made a brief and sudden announcement parting ways with their longtime drummer, Ken Bedene after fifteen years. with the band.
On Tuesday (16), the group issued the following statement:
“Effective immediately Ken Bedene is no longer a member of Aborted. The upcoming European tour is going forward as planned with blast duties being handled by none other than Kevin Paradis drummer.”
Bedene joined Aborted in 2010 after replacing Daniel Wilding, debuting on their 2012 album Global Flatline and contributed up to their latest offering, 2024’s Vault of Horrors. Filling in on drums for the upcoming European tour is Kevin Paradis, known for his work with Benighted, Ne Obliviscaris, Svart Crown, and more.
