Jason Newsted and his namesake band are not keeping too tight-lipped about their upcoming album release Heavy Metal Music. The band has already given a tease to the  album with the opening song “Heroic Dose” and a sample of “Above All.”  Today the band has released yet another track, “Ampossible,” via Rolling Stone.

The single off the Chophouse Records and Collective Sounds release due out August 6, was first intended to be a warm-up song, Newsted told the magazine. “It’s a hyper-morphed take on the original TV theme song from the 1960s Mission: Impossible – a childhood favorite,” he explained.

With previous song releases the former Metallica bassist talked of the upcoming album.  “It’s all metal all the time, it’s not all fast but it’s all heavy.”
