A lot’s been going on with Gojira. In 2015, we wrote about the band recording a new album, but then there was word they scrapped it all. While it looked like they would be the next Tool for a bit, they’ve seriously pulled it together. They recently released a minute long teaser, which was very promising. But today they answered everyone’s questions: what is the album called, and when is it coming out? Gojira answered with an album teaser, posted on YouTube this morning. The album is Magma, and it’s dropping June 3rd 17th on Roadrunner Records. You get to hear a little bit of music, and it’s still kind of cryptic, but now we’ve got something to look forward to.
