It’s been 11 years since Miami’s Floor broke up. Since then, Steve Brooks went on to found Torche, another band that writes sludgy, hooky pop that sounds like the love child of Melvins and Foo Fighters. Thankfully, however, Floor reformed in 2010 and started playing shows again. The band have recorded a new album, Oblation. Their first album in over a decade will be out on April 29th, and while you may have already heard “Find Away” and “War Party,” the band have premiered another track, “Sister Sophia,” via Allmusic. The song actually goes back to before the band broke up in 2003. In fact, it goes back to the band’s beginnings. Check it out below.
Oblation will be out on April 29th on Season of Mist.
