New York City was overtaken this past weekend by Wrestlemania, as WWE Wrestlemania XXIX came to East Rutherford NJ’s Giants Metlife Stadium on Sunday. One of the high points of the evening was when Living Colour, currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album Vivid, performed “Cult of Personality” as wrestler CM Punk’s intro music. While the band had just played a show two nights earlier at Irving Plaza, this performance not only was in front of an 82,000-strong crowd, but broadcast around the world. If you like what you hear, you should probably go listen to Vivid, which still sounds great for a 25 year-old album.
