05) Meshuggah (w/ The Black Dahlia Murder)

Although it’s shorter in length, there’s no way we could leave out a tour of this caliber. The blink-and-it’s-gone trek will begin with Meshuggah’s appearance at Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, FL and lasts for less than two weeks. In 2018, the band announced to not expect any new music until “2020 at the earliest,” so don’t miss your chance to enjoy the band’s more seasoned material on the road this year.

04) Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive (w/ After the Burial, Vein)

Two of the biggest names in Metalcore will embark on the Collapse the World tour through the United States beginning in San Francisco, CA on April 18th. After the Burial and Vein will serve as direct support, who have also been making quite a name for themselves in their respective genres. Killswitch Engage frontman Jesse Leach recently opened up on social media regarding his ongoing battle with mental illness but ensured fans that he will not be missing any shows.

03) Hypocrisy and Fleshgod Apocalypse (w/Aenimus)

Hypocrisy and Fleshgod Apocalypse will return to the United States to throw down a co-headlining tour dubbed Death…Is Just the Beginning. The month-long trek begins in March with Aenimus serving as direct support. The announcement only increases mounting anticipation for a new Hypocrisy album, as well as a follow-up to Fleshgod Apocalypse’s King, released in 2016.

02) Hatebreed (w/ Obituary, Cro-Mags, Terror, Fit for an Autopsy)

Hatebreed will celebrate 25 years of madness on the road this year, and in good company. Obituary, Cro-Mags, Terror, and Fit for an Autopsy will join the band for the entire run, which is looking to be the first of at least two legs. Select dates of the tour will include Municipal Waste (without Obituary), Bleeding Through, Asesino, and Strife.
