Number 1 of 2025 goes to the Brooklyn hardcore OG’s Biohazard. With the return of co-vocalist/bass player Evan Seinfeld, the original band was back together, and the resulting album, Divided We Fall, may be their most aggressive to date, with an obvious trip back to their hardcore roots. From start to finish, every song is intense and reminiscent of the original angst from their early days. The vocal trade-offs between Seinfeld and guitarist Billy Graziadei really stand out on this album and work so well on each song. Every song will make you want to flip over your couch and start a mosh pit, but “Fuck the System,” “Forsaken,” and “Eyes on Six” are the standouts on this record.
