Between touring and giving “acting” lessons, Archspire were busy in 2019. Somehow, the Canadian technical death metal outfit found time to start working on the follow-up to 2017’s Relentless Mutation. For 2020, it looks like album number four will be their primary focus. We were curious about the group’s overall taste in music as guitarist Tobi Morelli shared his Top 15 albums of the decade, or close to it (2010-2019).

01) Obscura, Cosmogenesis (2009)

02) Animals as Leaders, Animals as a leaders (2009)

03) Fleshgod Apocalypse, Mafia (2010)

04) Beneath the Massacre, Marée Noire (2010)

05) Hans Zimmer, Inception (2010)

06) Origin, Entity (2011)

07) Spawn of Possession, Incurso (2012)

08) The Zenith Passage, Cosmic Dissonance (2013)

09) Soreption, Engineering the Void (2014)
