Anyone that’s seen Slipknot’s live show wouldn’t be surprised that sometimes injuries happen. While they’re not the keg-throwing band they were when they began, there’s still plenty of jumping and tons of headbanging. Corey Taylor had to have spinal surgery last year, which postponed the band’s tour by a way, that also happened to Jim Root as well.

Recently Mick Thomson revealed that he also went under the knife, and we don’t mean the one wielded by his brother. He recently had spinal replacement surgery as well. That makes one third of the band that’s had back surgery in the past year and a half. It’s a good thing the band is off cycle right now, and now three members of Slipknot probably have metal in their spines now.
