Zakk Wylde is many things: frontman and guitarist of Black Label Society, our #1 shredder in a Randy Rhoads band that wasn’t Randy, published author. But until now, he’s never been the subject of a heavy metal burger. Grill ‘Em All, the food truck-turned restaurant in Alhambra, CA, will start serving the Berzerker burger starting this Saturday. What’s on a Berzerker burger? Two blackened half pound patties, Eagle Rock Solidarity battered onion rings, white truffle pomme frites, chipotle ketchup, cheddar and bacon. Yes, the burger has fries, onion rings, bacon and cheese on it, along with a pound of meat.

“Doing a Zakk Wylde burger is a dream come true for us because the guy is everything we dig about Metal,” said Matt Chernus, co-owner of Grill ‘Em All. “We though, ‘What would Zakk Wylde like? Um, yeah, beer and spice!’ TWO blackened patties with boozy onion rings, truffle fries, and chipotle ketchup; we know this burg is going to make people meat drunk.”

Grill ’em All already has burgers named after Municipal Waste, Behemoth, and Immortal, among others, so it makes sense that they expand their menu. Some might remember Grill ’em All from when they were special guests at Metal Insider’s CMJ party after they won the inaugural Great Food Truck Race. Their restaurant just opened up earlier this year.
