In what has become a staple in the Midwest, Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the lineup for the 8th annual Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Taking place in the small town of Mansfield, Ohio, known mainly for its historic old prison, (think Shawshank Redemption) more than 90,000 people will once again take to the yard of the Ohio State Reformatory for what is poised to be the biggest year yet. For three days, over 65 bands, and more than 100 tattoo artists will set up shop, in and around the reformatory creating one of the most unique events someone can attend.
July 17th to 19th, will find regular DWP headliners like Limp Bizkit and Disturbed, adding Bad Omens, who will headline their first DWP festival evening ever. With the level of energy, they brought to last year’s Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky, it was honestly only a matter of time before they cemented a closing slot. Direct support from groups like Papa Roach, Hollywood Undead, Gojira, The Used, A Day To Remember and Ice Nine Kills only adds to each day’s specifically curated lineup.
The full lineup, which includes several reunions, and rare performances is as follows:
Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Bad Omens, Gojira, Papa Roach, A Day To Remember, Motionless in White, Ice Nine Kills, Cypress Hill, The Used, Lorna Shore, Sleeping with Sirens, Hollywood Undead, Poppy, Starset, Machine Head, Tech N9ne, Jinjer, Hatebreed, Sleep Theory, Fit For A King, Get Scared, Memphis May Fire, Rev Theory, Jutes, LANDMVRKS, Dying Wish, Sanguisugabogg, Lacuna Coil, Escape The Fate, Alien Ant Farm, Miss May I, Caskets, PeelingFlesh, Spite, Point North, Norma Jean, Silent Planet, Born of Osiris, Nevertel, Left To Suffer, Thousand Below, 156/Silence, Archers, Static Dress, Ded, If Not For Me, Wolves At The Gate, Fox Lake, Earshot, King 810, Silly Goose, Guilt Trip, Cane Hill, Entheos, Versus Me, Snuffed On Sight, The Crimson Armada, Synestia, Corpse Pile, Heavy//Hitter, ENMY, Night Rider, Filth, Jeffrey Nothing, Vicar Blood and Killstreak.
If music isn’t really your thing, (not sure how it couldn’t be with this lineup) that fans can partake in the Monster Energy Tatto X convention which is placed inside the prison and runs throughout the weekend in its entirety.
