Epicenter Festival will make its presence known on May 10th, 2019. This three-day music festival will take place at the Rockingham Festival Grounds in Richmond County, North Carolina. Epicenter replaces the long-running Carolina Rebellion, which ran from 2011 to 2018.
The site of the new festival will be developed in a joint effort between the new owners of the Rockingham Dragway, the Rockingham Speedway, Richmond County, and local landowners. The event promises festival goers a bigger, better festival experience by enhanced camping amenities, expanding nighttime entertainment with no curfew, and offering even more food and beverage choices, add to that an incredible lineup of rock, metal, and alternative acts. Carolina Rebellion fans will understand that they are in for a massive upgrade with the arrival of Epicenter.
You can find the Rockingham Festival Grounds at 2153 North U.S. Highway 1, Rockingham, NC, a hop, skip, and a jump from Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham, Columbia, and Greensboro.
Epicenter is a production of Danny Wimmer Presents, a Los Angeles based festival producer who is also responsible for such events as, Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, Welcome To Rockville, Bourbon & Beyond, Chicago Open Air and more.
