Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor recently spoke of possibility of taking Knotfest on the road, and then Knotfest in Mexico was announced, becoming just the second time the fest has been outside of the US.

Now comes word of Slipknot’s Scream Park in Sacramento, CA, set to open October 2nd and run through November 1st.

Slipknot’s Scream Park is produced by (of course) Corey Taylor and percussionest M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, and will feature three haunted houses named, “Prepare for Hell,” “Clown’s Playhouse,” and “Skin Ticket.” According to the FAQ, you might want to leave the kids at home:

“Slipknot’s Scream Park is intended for Mature Audiences Only. The attractions are incredibly graphic, and may contain gore, disturbing images, bad language, and depicted nudity. Discretion is advised.”

The park will also host a kick-off party (featuring Hell or Highwater, and more TBA) on October 23rd for the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival, which kicks off on the 24th, headlined by Slipknot, Shinedown, and Marilyn Manson on Saturday, and Faith No More, Deftones, and Jane’s Addiction on Sunday.
