While we’re a little bummed that Phil Labonte will most likely not be attending the listening party we are throwing tomorrow for DevilDriver’s new album, Winter Kills, our friends at Metal Injection might be, and Dez Fafara definitely will be!

We’d be lying if we didn’t think it’d be interesting, at the very least, to see an in-person throwdown between Labonte and Metal Injection, but we have to remember the passion that fueled a Twitter tirade surrounds a new album and the event to celebrate it. The party goes down beginning 9 p.m. tomorrow, August 21 at Idle Hands Bar in NYC. While we apologize ahead of time that the party is 21-and-over, it is only for your safety. We have no idea what types of shenanigans could go down once all of us crazies get together over a few pints with DevilDriver blaring in the forefront.

Fafara has given previous indications this album has big hooks and grooves, so get your asses off Twitter and get a sneak peek at Winter Kills, before its release August 27 on Napalm Records. In the end, it’s all about the music.
