Upper Marlboro, MD metalcore quintet Louder Than Quiet have just released a single, “Red Gemini,” featuring guest vocals from embattled vocalist Jonny Craig. With that in mind, we asked the band to rank their favorite other metal songs that feature guest vocals. So check out the video above, and if you like what you hear, download it from iTunes, Bandcamp, or their just-started Indiegogo page. And here are what some of the band’s favorite guest vocal appearances are:

5) In Hearts Wake, “Departure” (feat. Winston McCall of Parkway Drive)

Even though IHW came to the forefront of Australia’s metalcore scene with Northlane, this song showed their growth as a band. Winston’s (also an Australia native) heavily weighing voice sometimes overpowers Jake Taylor’s, it still provided the pounds needed to make this song a hit.

4) The Chariot  “Then Came To Kill” (feat. Hayley Williams of Paramore)

This was quite possibly one of the most eclectic collaborations in the history of this genre. Hayley Williams voice meshes very well to create an emotive underlayer of ambience instead of clashing with the beautiful ferocity that is Josh Scogin’s vocal presence. Pure genius.
