Metal By Numbers is a weekly column in which we look at the top metal sellers and debuts of the week.
There were a lot of boosts in sales this week. It’s interesting how I write “A (number)% drop in sales” so often that when a boost happens I get this odd little beat of excitement. Even if it isn’t a band I care about or particularly like, it’s just neat because it isn’t the norm. And when it is a band I like, it’s all the more exciting. For example, I love that I’m still seeing Power Trip’s Nightmare Logic pop up every now and again 2.5 years after its debut (though I’d love to see a new album even more). Oh, and hey, Baroness is back.
