twin peaksTwin Peaks was a surreal TV show from David Lynch back in the early 90’s about an FBI detective investigating a murder in the small town of the same name just to find out there was a lot more going on and getting entangled in a bunch of weird, super-natural stuff happening. The show only lasted 2 seasons but it was announced to return next year with David Lynch at the helm of the new project. The cast has been revealed, and  amongst many others, Nine Inch Nails’ Tren Reznor and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder will be on the show.

Showtime has released the names of all 217 cast members of the upcoming show, and along with Vedder and Reznor, Nine Inch Nails guitarist Robin Finck is also on the list. It’s not clear what roles they’ll have on the show but, considering the kind of show we’re talking about, we can expect anything.

This wouldn’t be the first time Reznor and Vedder worked with Lynch, as Reznor has scored some his films like 1997’s Lost Highway, returning the favor by directing Nine Inch Nails’ music video for “Came Back Haunted;” and Vedder  performed at the Change Begins Within benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall on April 4th, 2009 hosted by the David Lynch Foundation.

The list is long but if you care to know who else will be part of the show, take the day off from work and read the cast below, knowing that those with an asterisk by their name were on the original:
