In a post on the Robotic Empire Twitter feed, it seems that something is up in the Daughters camp.

The last studio album from the noise metal / rock band from Providence, RI was their self-titled album which came out in 2010 on Hydra Head. Curiously, the band was on the Robotic Empire tribute album, In Utero, In Tribute, In Entirety (listen below), which came out just last year.

The Tweet from their former label was short and sweet, saying, “Hell(songs) Freezes Over,” an apt reference to their 2006 album Hell Songs, released on Hydra Head. A new Daughters studio album would be their second with Robotic Empire, who released their debut, Canada Songs back in 2003.
