In a new interview with LoudWire, former Skid Row vocalist Sebastian Bach speaks a little about the possibility of a reunion, and mentions an amazing number that they were offered to get back together.
Said Bach:
“We got offered a reunion show at Sonisphere, and I can tell you all the details because it never happened. We were offered $250,000 per show for two shows, a Friday and a Saturday night. We were going to get paid half a million dollars and Rachel didn’t want to do it. If you’re in a company with somebody and they are turning down your work, that’s really a bummer.”
That’s two shows in the UK for $500,000. But Sebastian Bach, who is still part of the “company” that makes up Skid Row, hasn’t talked to founding bassist Rachel Bolan in 19 years. Given Skid Row’s recent vocalist change – splitting with long time singer Johnny Solinger and bringing in Tony Harnell – it doesn’t look like they’ll be working together again, even for half a million dollars.
