Primus sucks. That’s a refrain often heard at their shows, an inside joke among fans. It also apparently is what Jennifer S. Ullery thought, as she was arrested after firing shots at a TV while her three children watched a video by the band. The 40 year-old Woodstock, IL woman was charged with discharge of a firearm and four misdemeanors after her three children, aged 15, 11 and 6 were watching TV and she allegedly fired a Ruger .22 long rifle at the TV. The Northwest Herald reports that the woman was “upset with what her children were watching and how much TV they consumed” when she shot the TV.
“”A music video by Primus set Mom off and she opened fire,” Algonquin Deputy Police Chief Andrew Doles said. This past Monday, Ullery appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the felony and the four misdemeanor offenses, oossession of a firearm without a FOID and three counts of endangering the life of a child. The children are now in the care of another family member. Her next court date is on 4/20.
