2015 – the year of failure. That’s not necessarily a great way to start off the New Year, now is it? However, “2015, the year of a new Failure album” sounds a lot more promising. The Ken Andrews-led band toured successfully last year, and now it appears that they’ll have some new stuff out, or at least more activity from the band.
A post on their Facebook page from earlier today simply says “Failure 2015,” which may suggest the band could be coming out with their first full length since 1996s Fantastic Planet. Last year, to go along with their tour, they released an EP, Tree of Stars. If they do indeed come out with a new full length this year, it will only be their fourth ever since they formed in 1990. The band took a 16-year hiatus following the success of Fantastic Planet, reuniting in 2013. Their meticulous alt-rock influenced bands like Cave-In.
