If you’ve seen They Live, the ’80s action film starring wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper, then you’ll definitely recognize the plot of Battlecross’ new video, “My Vaccine.” In tjhe video, which loosely monitors the plot of the film, a girl puts on a pair of headphones (that are playing “My Vaccine,” natch), and is able to see messages broadcast by government. The Roy Warner-directed video for the song, one of the highlights of last year’s War of Will, is nicely a nicely shot video with an actual story behind it, and even if it’s cribbed from an admittedly awesome b-movie, that’s more than you can say for most music videos these days.
