The “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson” got a dose of old school metal last night.
It was Metallica’s first night of their week-long stint on the late night show, and after an interview with James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, the band launched into “Hit The Lights,” from their debut album, Kill ‘Em All, way back in 1983.
During the interview, Ferguson asked about touring, and Lars Ulrich explained how they do the road-life these days:
“We still get a kick out of it. We do it much shorter increments now, we kind of have a two week rule in our band. We do the two week grind and then we roll home, and it also sort of prevents you from falling off the deep end, so it serves multiple purposes.”
The band will be on the show the rest of this week.
