In a recent video interview with The Dillinger Escape Plan, the band members revealed some interesting info about their various side-projects (and babies). Greg Puciato spoke a bit about the possibility of touring and another album with Killer Be Killed, saying “both are possible,” but explained that the band isn’t a priority, and two members have family. He also said there’s a “better than none chance that we’ll play some shows at some point, or not,” and was quick to add that he, “can’t say for sure or not for sure.” Ben Weinman, founding guitarist (and lone original member) of the band spoke about Giraffe Tongue Orchestra. The group — Brent Hinds of Mastodon, former Jane’s Addiction bassist Eric Avery, and Queens of the Stone Age drummer Jon Theodore — will be entering the studio by the end of this month to start recordingwith producer Ross Robinson (who worked on the latest Limp Bizkit offering, Stampede of the Disco Elephants). Bassist Liam Wilson is going to be father in November – hey, that’s a plenty big project! Having joined Dillinger Escape Plan in 2009, he’s also involved with No Machine, along with Isaac Bolivar from Happy Body Slow Brain on guitars, and Michael Sadis from NK on bass and vocals. They’re doing a 5″ lathe cut, custom die cut jacket release available for purchase for just 24 hours. Yes, after midnight tonight you’re out of luck. Give a listen below.
