Wovenwar’s self-titled debut album came out earlier this week, and it certainly does not disappoint. Combining Shane Blay’s powerful singing voice with the instrumentation of As I Lay Dying has proven to be a winning choice, and if you’ve heard any of the other tracks that we’ve given you from Wovenwar’s debut, you know just how well it comes together. Today, Wovenwar unveiled their video for the track “All Rise” over on AllMusic. It’s on par with the rest of Wovenwar’s material so far and has more of the same hook-laden riffage that will keep listeners engaged until the very end. This song is definitely worth checking out. The video premiere also includes a brief interview with bassist Josh Gilbert, which covers the differences in sound between Wovenwar and As I Lay Dying, the resolution for the four musicians to continue working together, and what it was like playing live for the first time as Wovenwar. It’s a good read that’s definitely worth your time.
