We reported back in October that Judas Priest would be appearing on The Simpsons. Now the episode will be airing this Sunday, and pictures of the band have appeared online. It’s a star-studded episode, with Will Arnett, director Judd Apatow, and his frequent costars Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, and Channing Tatum also slated to appear. In the episode, titled “Steal This Episode,” Homer, who’s fed up with going to movie theaters, is taught how to download films by Bart. After he starts screening them in his backyard, an overzealous FBI agent (Arnett), comes after him. Apparently, Halford figures into the episode by singing “Breaking the Law” in an effort to nab Homer.
TV by the Numbers described Simpsons executive producer Matt Selman as saying in a press release “Will Arnett, Channing Tatum and Rob Halford never wanted to work together, so please don’t tell them they’re in the same episode.” Check another photo of Halford below.
