rob_halfordYou would think that over the course of the show’s 25 year run, The Simpsons would have had Judas Priest on the show before. That hasn’t happened yet, but it’s about to, as Rob Halford will be a guest on an episode slated to air next year. Halford will only be one of the episode’s many guests, as it’s also slated to star Will Arnett, director Judd Apatow, and his frequent costars Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd, and Seth Rogen. Also slated to appear is Channing Tatum.

Simpsons executive producer Matt Selman tells EW that in the episode, titled “Steal This Episode,” Homer, who’s fed up with going to movie theaters, is taught how to download films by Bart. After he starts screening them in his backyard, an overzealous FBI agent (Arnett), comes after him. Apparently, Halford figures into the episode by singing “Breaking the Law” in an effort to nab Homer. We’ll bet Otto will be psyched. Rogen, Tatum and Apatow will play themselves, while Rudd and Mann will appear in a film that Homer screens called Life is Funny.
