YouTube channel The Daily Disruption has done a few things really well since launching earlier this year: Given frontmen from bands that no metalhead over 25 would admit to liking their own YouTube shows and asking people that don’t like metal to watch metal videos. It’s been awesome to see mothers turn on Atilla’s “About That Life” for having too many butt shots in it (but let’s be honest, that video is offensive to everyone). But now the channel has a new idea – show videos to rappers. Their new segment, “Metal Un-Rapped,” is kicked off by seeing members of 1200 Squad and Tanya Morgan (yeah, us neither) critique Ghost B.C.’s (“not Ghostface) “Year Zero” video. We’ll let you watch, but the big reveal, so to speak, is a bit like “2 Girls, 1 Cup.” We’ll be honest, we think these guys are more fun than the metal moms.
